Fitting Room
Vintage designer clothing is not sized like contemporary fashion.
Vintage sizing varies so much, not only from decade to decade, but also country to country and manufacturer to manufacturer. As a result we generally ignore the size label in each garment.
The Pure Vintage Collection is categorized by its modern size using the measurements in our size chart. Sizes are equivalent to a certain set of measurements, so they definitely give you a quicker idea of fit. Please refer to each item for the detailed measurements for each component: shoulders, arms, bust, hips, length, inseam etc.
For beautifully fitted clothes it is critical to know your measurements.
Don’t assume you know your size! You will need to measure yourself with a firm tape measure or measure clothes that you already wear with comfort or close fit.
