Pure Vintage was born out of the passion of stylist, Paula Williams. Starting out as a photographer’s assistant and visual merchandiser, she has since carved out a 14-year career as Stylist and Costume Designer for Film and Television. She also works one-to-one with personal clients as their Image Consultant and Personal Shopper.
As a young girl discovering fashion, Paula wasn’t satisfied with shopping on the High Street and dressing the same as everyone else. She loved the sense of adventure and theatrics of trawling the charity shops for clothes and trinkets. Using her dressmaking skills she would make her own clothes and incorporate these with the classic pieces and unusual finds from her charity treasure hunt. Her free time was consumed with reinventing fashion to fit to her style, a skill she now successfully utilises on her clients.
After years of shopping and collecting Paula has launched an online vintage clothing store for the discerning fashionista who wants to be on-trend without looking like everyone else. Pure Vintage showcases a bygone time when clothes where made with craft and skill, when all women dressed with elegance and glamour.
